Steeped grains plus malt extract:

  • Delete the pale ale and the wheat lines.
  • For liquid malt extract, add sugar: Liquid light malt extract, 77.5, 5, 76
  • For dry malt extract, add sugar: Dry light malt extract, 77.5, 3.5, 96
  • Set the mash efficiency variable to 55% for steeping.

Notes

Theakston's Old Peculier is a well known example of a British old ale or stock ale. This clone is based on a BYO recipe, with hop changes (Challenger and Target) and OG adjustment (1.055 estimated from 5.6% ABV) based on the official web site.
