Notes
This clone is from Dogfish Head Craft Brewery. Description: "Indian Brown Ale has the color of an American brown ale, the hopping rate of an IPA, and the caramel sweetness of a Scotch ale." More information is available on the Dogfish Head web site.
By my calculations, the hops in the source recipe would only be about 26 IBUs. This calculator, in contrast, will deliver the full 50 IBUs. Change the IBU variable to 26 if you want it to match the published recipe.
The recommended yeasts are Ringwood Ale/Wyeast 1187, Safale S-04, or White Labs WLP 005.
