Notes

Genesee cream ale is an iconic example of an American cream ale. This clone is based upon the "Genesee My Butt", an old 1990s homebrew recipe. This version was published in BYO magazine. Other variations of this recipe include Munich malt: Homebrewersassociation.org post, Austin Homebrew Supply.

The BYO version specifies California Lager yeast. However, cream ales can be brewed with neutral ale yeasts.
